We made the mistake of visiting at peak time between Xmas and New Year, meaning that we had to queue for everything, sometimes up to 1.5 hours for either the Gondola or the main attractions for the kids. Finding your way around the first day is challenging, especially in the Sky World Theme Park area. The Gondola ride is fun and some of the rides awesome if you can handle the queues. The Premium Outlet mall was actually disappointing and we did most of our shopping at Sky World where prices were only slightly higher but goods better quality. Food was generally bland and disappointing. The good places that we did enjoy were the Thai Restaurant (for spice) and O'Briens (for healthy food with good service). Five Guys burgers were popular with the kids. Avoid the western type restaurants on the top level. The atmosphere is great but the food ordinary.

It's a good place to visit.
It's a good place to visit. I would recommend going up the gondola/skyscraper early morning to best the queue and have breakfast up top. The bottom of Genting Islands does not have much choice in regards to breakfast/food in general.
The area is nice and cool in terms of temperature and cleanness. If you're into theme parks book an extra day to make full fun day

Genting Highlands now has many places and restaurants to explore apart from casinos. The entertainments and restaurants now cater to all ages which is great especially for families with kids or elderly. Overall a great place for a short trip.

The check-in was a headache.
The check-in was a headache. The system was not very user-friendly and there was only a staff around to assist the huge crowd. The room has no wardrobes and not enough table-tops to place our belongings.

It was the worst hotel ever.
It was the worst hotel ever. First they gave us a different room than the one we booked. It was very bad and dirty. The bathroom was disgusting the sink the walls even the water hose was covered with dirt. The windows had moss and fungus on them. Insects were everywhere on the bed even inside the tea kettle. The parking was far from our building we had to go through a maze to reach it. No chairs on the balcony to sit on. Sofas are horrible and not comfortable at all. We got allergy and rash because of the dirty towels and bed sheets. It was a nightmare.

If you come during the weekend to play outdoor, please plan your visit. Some of the games can use Virtual Queue such as samba gliders, Invasion of Planet Apes, and Terraform Tower Challenge.
For Acorn Adventure, even if using a VR queue, the waiting time is still almost 1 hour.
There are so many games that I didn't get to try, so please plan your time during your visit.
My personal favorite: Terraform Tower Challenge & Independence Day: Defiance

Overall very happy with the room. However cleanliness really need to improve.
1. Cold, spacious room. Comfortable bed.
2. Free parking once validated by the receptionist.
3. Have heated swimming pool but a little crowded during weekend.
4. Hotel attended promptly to our needs as I complained about squeaking sound on all the doors in the room. In the evening when I returned, everything was fixed! Nice job!
5. Free bottles of water, have complete toiletries and kettle as well as coffee and tea. Have TVs in living room and inside master room.
Grand Ion Genting Highlands was beyond our highest hopes! This hotel is a real gem, tucked away amid Genting Highlands' magnificent mountains. Our room's expansive views were just stunning, providing a tranquil place from the bustling below. We enjoyed fine meals at the hotel's restaurant and unwinding with a drink at the bar while taking in the peaceful ambiance of the sun terrace and garden. Our small ones were occupied for hours on end by the playground, and we felt secure knowing that everyone was safe.
Honestly, don't go to any hotel after Crockfords!
you will feel any hotel is bad after this luxury Place!
We really like the place, the staff, Mr. Jega thanks for your cooperation and polite help with fast respond for any requirements.
if you plan to visit Malaysia... my advice is to book in Crockfords in Genting and spend you vacation here.... I can't write more but it's worth every penny spent for stay in it.
We had the pleasure of staying at the Grand Ion Delemen Hotel with our family, and it was an unforgettable experience. From start to finish, our time at this hotel was exceptional. The accommodations were spacious and comfortable, perfect for a family. The room was well-maintained and offered all the amenities we needed. The staff was courteous and always ready to assist us with any request.
We've been to Genting Highland many times before. And the resort world facilities are continually improving. That's why we keep going back. It's not totally centred around the casinos any more. Year by year it's becoming more and More family orientated. Plus being high in the mountains it's very cooling. A nice change from the 30 plus temperatures of the towns and cities.
Room was spacious enough for 5 adults. Bed and pillows was comfy. Great view as we got a room facing the talking garden. Spacious make up area, with long mirror and 2 sinks, and adequate electric sockets. Will surely stay here again/ recommend family & friends to try this hotel in the future. The theme park is nearby, right opposite the hotel.
The apartment was spacious than ordinary hotel room. Very good value for money. Most of the time, guests just stay here to sleep at night because during the day, they will go up to Genting Highland for themepark activities or shopping. Anyway, its good to have nice view and modern apartment like Geo38 to stay.
The check in process was clear cut. Amazing host willing to offer help on sightseeing ideas and location guide. The room was super cozy and comfortable, highly hygienic. Best stay on the new year!! Recommend for families to enjoy a great vacation some place quite away from busy roads of Genting Highlands.
My room was at the new tower. Newly built, spacious, with kitchenette. Bathroom was big and complete with a medium sized bottle of shampoo and shower gel.The facilities - superb. That was my third time booked with this hotel, never regret. Very suitable for family with kids.
The apartment is fully furnished with kitchenette and washing machine. The parking is guarded 24 hours. The scenery of the hills from the room is amazing. Strategic location for whom went to Genting Highlands using cable car. Their staff is friendly
Spacious room. Staff were friendly and helpful. We chose the hotel as we had an event at the football place nearby, quite far from the theme park on the top of Genting.
