The property was super clean. It’s a little difficult to find the entrance but other than that our stay was perfect for our family of 5. The room was spacious enough for us. I would definitely recommend

Alexandria appeared to be a small and safe city with a relaxing vibe right outside of Washington, D.C. We spent most of our time touring D.C. Staying in Alexandria allowed us to stay in a relaxing place after spending tourist time in the hustle and bustle of a metropolitan city.

Alexandria is one of my favorite places to visit!
Alexandria is one of my favorite places to visit! It's set up to be friendly to tourists, but it doesn't feel kitschy or fake. There are a lot of independent local shops and wonderful restaurants. I didn't have a single bad meal the entire time I was there, and most of the restaurants have outdoor seating, including with heat and covering in poor weather. The Torpedo Factory art center is incredible! Alexandria is also very walkable, though the brick pavement is a little uneven, and public transit is free. I've visited three or four times now and plan to go back often!

Overall the stay was good.
Overall the stay was good. Parking may be a bit difficult during heavy traffic however aside from my time of arrival I did not park until after midnight each day and was able to easily get a spot just a few steps away.
The backyard seemed nice but since it was winter and snowed during my stay I didn't not utilize the yard.
The house was clean and everything functioned as expected. When staying at a private property there's typically a welcome note that points out some key things, this property did not have that.
My communication with the property management was easy and my questions were answered quickly.
Since my trip was to attend an event at the National Harbor I do not have anything to add about Alexandria as a destination.

We stayed here because we drove and they offered free parking on site. Since Sept. 1, parking is $10 per night, still not bad compared to most hotels offering no parking at all. The Metro is about 3 blocks down Eisenhower Blvd and efficiently gets one to DC primary locations. We ate at a Bison Grill in a center across from the Metro station...pricey but good. Hotel food is minimal. We didn't explore Alexandria itself. Location was more reasonable for access to DC highlights. Would use it again..

The front desk staff and the manager were absolutely wonderful and extremely helpful in trying to make sure I was comfortable. I needed a handicap room which wasn't on my reservation, and they made sure that I got one.
They make fresh baked cookies that you can smell while they are baking in the evening which was an absolute wonderful touch.
The room was clean and comfortable with a refrigerator and microwave.
I must say it was a really comfortable room and I wish I could have enjoyed it for another couple days, but I will look forward to returning.

Old Town/riverfront area was fantastic.
Old Town/riverfront area was fantastic. Never even knew it existed before this. Great bars, restaurants, nice waterfront park, lots of happy pleasant people out & about. Ate at Barca twice, excellent Catalonian themed menu. The garlic scallops are to die for. Went with a buddy who had a medical appointment & made a weekend of it. We want to go back soon.
Staff went out of their way to make this stay very comfortable and enjoyable. The room was very clean.
Excellent breakfast. The free shuttle service of up to one mile from the hotel was enjoyed. We were able to get a ride to restaurants, shopping, and sight- seeing in downtown Alexandria.
Staff members: Chrystal, Mario, Mohammed, and Mr. Molo went out of their way to provide an enjoyable stay at Residence Inn Duke Street in Alexandria. All of the staff were very professional, courteous, and caring.
The room was spacious and beautiful, the location close to dc and old town Alexandria, and the staff was helpful and friendly. Enjoyed having breakfast every morning, and loved that they had snacks available for purchase anytime of day or night. The bed was incredibly comfortable as well. This was a great hotel and an amazing price, especially since it includes parking. Would definitely stay here again.
It was near Old Town Alexandria. The neighborhood was nice and the rooms were clean, neat, had everything we needed. Perfect for my husband and I and a friend traveling with us. Separate bedrooms and bathrooms in same apartment. People managing it were delightful and helpful. We only stayed one night, but with full kitchen we will definitely come again and stay longer. Very happy with facility
Convenient location — 30 min to DC, a few minutes to Old Town Alexandria
Great breakfast — the kids always enjoy the breakfast
property is clean — hallways smell good, room is clean and smells clean
friendly and helpful staff.
Late checkout — not sure if this is a regular thing maybe it’s just not a busy day.
Comfortable, secure hotel with refrigerator and microwave in the room. Free hot coffee all day in the lobby, and a great location in Old Town, Alexandria near the Metro. Loved the extra towels and coffee-maker in the room. They also provided free bottles of water, which was great.
everything was great : from the staff, specially the two girls at the front office and the director. Big and cute room. lovely hotel very Well located on King’s street. This is definitely the place to stay in Alexandria ! I will come back !
I had to do some changes in my reservation and Angelica helped me a lot! I had her on the phone booking a room to extend my stay in the hotel and she managed to do it even if my previous reservation was through booking. She was the best!!
It was a nice stay. Clean large rooms, good breakfast, comfortable beds and very nice and helpfull staff. Close to Washington (20 minutes drive) and Old Town Alexandria (5 minutes drive) - perfect for us.
the hotel is located within 5-10 minutes of the closest metro rails and bus stop that can take you into Washington D.C. or Maryland, direct access by rails to the two closest airports.
Honestly, not a lot. The hotel is in not such a bad part of Alexandria, so I guess that’s a plus. But even that is pushing it. The building is ratted down and not maintained at all.
Ambience of the hotel, fabulous coffee (best coffee in two weeks) and fresh and lovely food in the cafe.
Highlight is the friendly staff at the front desk every time of day.
The room itself, covered parking, on-site laundry facility, ease of accessing the internet and the proximity to downtown Alexandria and various Metro stations.
